With YGO Zexal over for now comes YGO Arc V debuting on 2014-04-06 in Japan. The new protagonist of the next YGO series is Yūya Sakaki (14 yrs old).
He studies at the "You Show Duel School," wants to become a professional entertainment duelist like his father, and uses "Action Duel" later to create his own type of duel - "The Pendulum Summoning."
Of course with the help from his friends, will he have the courage to face whatever hardships that can be resolved through dueling.
If you've been a fan of Yu-Gi-Oh! since season 1, whether it was the drama, action, fantasy, or card tournaments that hooked you, then there's no reason for you to stop watching. That is, unless you are well over the years of getting/hoping for that same level of enjoyment from the YGO's first season to be found in this current season. I speak for myself when I say "don't expect YGO Arc V to be much different from YGO Zexal" because from the looks of things they are meant for the newer generation to get hooked into the world of card dueling. To be honest I don't plan to watch more than a few (3-5) episodes, in which case I did only to get an idea of what other viewers might be getting into.
Despite my enthusiasm not being there with the anime, I look forward to what more creative YGO cards will come out and how they will affect dueling overall. I will share this interest with you all in due time. My next post will most likely wrap up YGO Zexal cards first before I delve further into YGO Arc V cards. Thanks for reading!
